<Why is the right getting their knicks in a wad over actors they claim are irrelevant?
I'm not getting bent out of shape, not particularly. These celebrities occupy the same place in the realms of politics, philosophy, and intellect that Hoagland does in the realm of planetary studies. Without someone putting words in their mouths, they are largely idiots. Of course there are exceptions, but they are few and far between.
What idiots say doesn't raise my blood pressure a bit. It's the smart folks getting it wrong that I find frustrating.
That being said, it is worth noting that if Martin Sheen ever ran for President, he would have a good chance of winning.
Search your feelings...you know it to be true.
Only the nearly-impenetrable "Good Old Boy" power structure of our political party system helps to prevent it.
