You 'n' Tom gotta get yer lefties straight.
I now assume that Tom only talks about the leftist "elite". You talking about the masses?
I haven't bought any Madonna albums recently (ever) - can you tell me her anti-US songs?
Clooney I know more about, since I happen to like the movies he is in.
Batman was a flop (and I think you just about quoted him on "retiring the franchise"). However in your fallout bunker, you may not have had a chance to get out and see Three Kings, O Brother where Art thou, Oceans Eleven, Confessions of a Dangerous mind (go see that movie!!!!!).
All fair to middlin' hits. Clooney is a much bigger celeb now than during his ER days - that's why he gets paid the big bucks to appear in movies.
Garofalo, Madonna, Springsteen (Bruce? you tink he's an actor?) - not major actors, and hardly worthy of inclusion in a sentence that includes Hoffman and Redford (who incididdlyentally continue to make good movies- get out more!). Is that the best you could do?
Not one mention of politically active Clint, Charlton and Arnie (well maybe not Arnie, he get's more demmie every day). Would Reagan even have made Mayor without being an actor (crappy as he was)?
Last point:
Tom Cruise and Speilberg got way more coverage than just about anyone for supposedly coming out in favor of military action. It was crowed about on here by various posters (until Tom and Steve retracted the reports....).
Cheers,
Tony
