Good point
It's a mistake to overlook pathological ego when talking about crazies like those two. Now that you point it out, I can well imagine that Saddam might consider bin Laden a rival, and vice-versa. ObL hasn't had anything good to say about Saddam, that's for sure, and there's no reason to think the feeling isn't mutual.
