I was no huge fan of Gulf I... I was lukewarm for it... I thought Saddams original invasion could have been averted...
I was bitterly upset, though, that we didn't take the guy out when we had just cause. Stopping at the Kuaiti line REALLY made it look like a war about oil and foreign policy instead of for justice and stability. We had just cause then to go take the nutzoid down... But instead we listned to the Saudi princes who wanted a weak destabilized neighbor...
