Current Events » in reply to British intelligence strongly suggests that both Baghdad marketplace bombings were due to Iraqi missiles

Ya don't know whether to laugh or cry.

There have been 10 days of of the US and Britain raining the largest conventional weapons they have on a city of 5 million people.

Big one's, little ones, cruise missiles, blasts which shake the Earth for miles. Fighters, bombers, stealth bombers, C-130s and your basic cruise missiles.

A "thousand points of light", and then another thousand and another. Bomb after bomb after bomb.

AND US CONSERVATIVES SAY CIVILIAN CASUALTIES IN THIS CITY OF 5 MILLION WERE CAUSED BY THE IRAQIS THEMSELVES. MUST HAVE BEEN. THE US WOULDN'T CAUSE 'EM, AND THE BRITS ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR CONSIDERATION IN BOMBING.

It must be that these bombs are not only "smart", they are positively KIND, and DISCERNING, looking for uniforms and military designations before they go off.

Now, in the last Gulf War it was estimated that less than 5% of the "smart bombs" were smart, despite what Stormin' Norman claimed. He lied. A lot. Doesn't talk about how smart they were, now.

It takes a genuine True Believer to even suggest such a thing. There has to be a special place in the conservative heaven for these folks, where they can sit around and convince themselves the devil is liberating souls from the boring sameness of everyday heaven.

They may be better now, we won't know until after the US and British occupation forces are gone. But how ludicrous is it to suggest the Iraqis are responsible for the civilian casualties.

Ah, the True Believers. It's sad to see what they've done to their minds. Pretzels.
