Cute, but too pat to be believed. A Google on just a handful of words from that quote returns only the Ejecta page, which is incredible considering how many historical archives are now online. I'd say it's a hoax.
I stopped there, and didn't try to read the two miles of text below it. If an author stoops to making up quotes to support his case, his case isn't supportable.
