<Show some decency for those that will be injured or killed to pay for the political failures of their leaders that made war the only recourse.

I'm getting a bit sick of this. "Political failure?" I have yet to hear one person come up with an alternative to either military force, or leaving Saddam in control of Iraq in perpetuity. What would you have considered a political "success?" Saddam continuing his murderous dynasty while Hans Blix wanders the desert like a lost puppy for the next fifteen years?

And, should you actually decide to come up with an answer, I hope you manage something a bit better than the verbal fog I've been getting from others.

No one has ever carried off a military campaign of this sort that has done so little damage to a nation up to this point, and I am properly thankful for it. And yes, I am also proud of my country for it.

I'm really sorry the tens of thousands of deaths on both sides, loudly predicted for months by the Left, didn't show up. Maybe they'll have better luck with the economy.
