<NO SANE PERSON IS "PRO WAR" BUT I WILL ADMIT SOMETIMES IT IS THE ONLY OPTION!!!!

That is probably the most reasonable statement I have seen in a long while here, and any reasonable person would agree.

I have been getting a little tired of people bombarding me with the notion that the war on Iraq was because conservatives just LOVE war and were simply choosing to ignore all the great and wonderful other ways the Iraq problem could have been dealt with. What ways? "Reply hazy. Ask again later."

I come down hard on the A.N.S.W.E.R. organization because I know damn well they have an agenda, and the antiwar sentiment is just another tool for them to exploit. The exact same people were on the streets not long ago on world trade issues.

...Lots of regimes torture their people, are we going to take them all on?

Militarily? I doubt it. Every situation has its own set of answers. Force is only one of them, and not the first choice.

Still, I'd like to think the torturers around the world are lying awake asking themselves that same question tonight.
