"BTW: Christians (or Jews, or Moslems, or any other religious faith) discussing political topics and voting based on their religious views isn't limited to the right-wing, in case you didn't notice. "
Never claimed it was. However, you are a fool to believe that the religious right does not have political designs for the power of the pulpit and church- Again, as I said in my previous post, I am not making any claims this is wrong or anything other then the way it should be.
I am just pointing out that the religious right has a very powerful structure for the expression of their political agenda and applying political pressure. Non-religious bodies have the power of the protest- not something that should be called wrong either.
Toms original point was that the religious right does not put a million protesters on the street to get their message out, my point is sure- because they don't need the power of the protest.
but as usual, Larry, your means for conduscting discourse is to misconstruct, intentionally, the points at hand in order for you to try to make your points.
