Re: What's happening . . .

Police troops are being sought in Iraq and brought back to the office.

Low-level politicians are being found and reenstated.

Iraqi citizens from Iraq-proper and international refugee communities are being sought to fill empty shoes.

The U.S. will hold hands with the new regime and assist in setting everything back in order. I do not see a long-term rebuilding process here, as most of the structure of the country remains intact. There will be a new currency, a new government, new oil wells, new production -- and a new sight in the streets, called a free smile.

The Iraqi soldiers are coming home, and from these men will be honed a new future for the nation. This is the working force which will quickly raise Iraq to levels unheard of in the Arab world, possibly surpassing even the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia -- and without the need of a king (nothing personal, UK).

If all goes well, the US & UK will be out of Iraq within the next 3 years.

Cheers,
Dan
