No, if you look at my original post, the topic I was posting about is what *people* here and elsewhere are saying, and how they are re-arranging their positions post-facto.

Mark, thats a poster boy for Spin. Again you make accusations WITHOUT support. Notice that I made an accusation WITH support. You should try it sometime. I would really appreciate it if you stopped insulting me with false accusations that you can't substantiate.

As to what Bush and his admin said, it was clear:
1) Saddam had WMD
2) Saddam had terroirist ties
3) Saddam was therefore a threat to us
4) Therefore we have a moral imperative to invade

Did you listen to the powell address before the UN? What about the last resolution before the UN: Abandon WMD or suffer dire consequences? Or do you want to suggest that the speaches and statements made by Powell, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush, etc were just non-sequiters and were about an Iraq other then the one we invaded?

Great, so if we are/were wrong or mislead, how do we unkill the killed? What does that make us, as citizens of a democracy we could have stopped this, but chose not to.

Mark, if we supported invasion on palse pretense, then we have done something very, very wrong... And we did it all as a country and we are all responsible for it. We should take MORAL RESPONSIBILITY and make sure that never happens again. That begins with directing our attention to the source of the misdirection- our current administration... And the dupes, US....
