I've given plenty of support for my positions in the past. The fact that you don't give me credit for them is precisely why I feel it is a waste of time to go over it with you again.
My post was on what Bush said. I happen to agree with what he said, but I interpreted your comments as being about Bush and co's spin. Furthermore, I have said many times that even if WMD are not found we have enough circumstantial evidence to think the assumption they had them was reasonable when combined with Saddam's intransigence and the reports from Iraqi defectors. The idea that Bush was morally wrong for using his best judgement is inane. All you can do is make the best decision you can based on the information you have.
You think in too absolute terms to be a decision maker. Most true leaders have to make decisions based on incomplete information and weight the risks of doing nothing as well as the risks of doing something. You and far to many others (even those on the other side of this issue) do too much of the latter. That is the same type of thinking that leads to environmental damage and scandals like Enron and relative neglect of the NEO issue. People focus on the small but certain consequences of this years profits or direct loss of life rather than less certain, but more devastating risks like corporate bankrupcy, continuing long term loss of lives, and even massive loss of life.

Mark
