The growing possibility that the Bush Regime lied about WMD as a pretext for starting a war makes this one of the most important issues that citizens of a democracy can ever face. We are the watchdogs of our government. We have a duty to pursue this matter to a satisfactory conclusion. The news media exists to uncover the facts, but it's up to us to act on them. The first step, and a vital responsibility, is to ensure that the facts aren't swept under the rug by strident jingoism and knee-jerk partisan defense of a President whose actions may make Watergate seem like it really was just a "third-rate burglary" by comparison.
You're making progress, Don, judging by the growing irritation of the Right. Don't stop. This is important.
