Unbridled greed also has hugely negative potential effects. I honestly think recent tax law changes have created a climate of excessive greed by making it easy to amass huge amounts of money in short periods of time by gimmicks rather than real contributions to the economy.

By knowing that a large chunk of what they make will be taken away, people will tend to try and squeeze out every red cent they can. It can also effect people's motivation to take the risk needed to contribute to the economy.

I say that if people can make it legally, then let them keep as much as possible. You must remember that the pie isn't only so big, every year it grows larger and larger, so there is always more for people to get for themselves.
