In defense of Don
Concerning his "We now know Iraq no longer possessed these large stores of chemical and biological weapons and that both British and U.S. intelligence information had been exaggerated." statement:
A lot of folks asserted that these weapons would be available to Saddam's troops. They clearly were not. So to some extent it is true that we know that the weapons did not exist to the extent claimed by some.
It is not yet proven that they existed at all (Bush's claim notwithstanding). Till they are, I'd reccommend a bit of circumspection.
