Part One: Brain-storming for financing/underwriting proposals for 'private' space-sector.

This is not quite a thesis, because I'm asking for your input, too.
The more ideas/proposals thrown around, the better.

Funding of the 'private' space-sector is now a "touch-and-go" affair.
How many private space-projects have gone belly-up over the past
20 years?

I could pour out a flood of funding proposals that range from
plastering commercial-logos/advertising-slogans all over private
spacecraft; obtaining a licensing-contract with a toy manufacturer
[LEGO, MATTEL, TONKA, etc.] to make and sell toy-models of your
beloved private spacecraft; etc etc etc...
It would be great to get a contract with IMAX Co. for that company to
shot a documentary-movie of your private space-project in its
various stages, assuming you could get a successful launch off.
IMAX could easily underwrite that entire 'private' space-project
& associate group assuming the project-budget could be kept under
a few-million dollars.
By the way!...Why are no attempts being made to interest
some newspaper/publishing magnates, like Rupert Murdoch, whose value
is measured in the hundreds of millions of dollars, and who can underwrite an entire "space-tourism" project meant to send one of his
journalists or TV documentary-reporters into space.
DAMMIT! NOTHING IS BEING DONE ALONG SOME OF THESE LINES!

However!...While I am angry and disappointed that such potential sponsors and patrons have either been ignored or not contacted,
there is an organization, independent of NASA, that has "deep pockets" ,
and is DEFINITELY interested in space.

More, later, in PART TWO....
