Is the Mars Society only out to make a buck? They try and sell the public on their phony Arctic and Utah desert "Mars Habitats" (made of plywood). Their leader calls himself a commander. Commander of what? A bunch of goofy adults dressed up in cheap canvas space suits with fake space helmets made of plastic and garbage can lids. Then they ask for donations for this "important Mars research". It sounds a lot like a southern baptsit minister trying to sell you a ticket to heaven. Don't buy into this junk. Real Mars science is going to be happeing with the Beagle 2 Lander and Mars Exploration Rovers. Someone at the Mars Society is just trying to sell more books and get attention in the only they can - pretend.
