Don't lump us all together

I detest George Bush; didn't vote for him; wont' vote for him. That said, I do NOT wish failure in Iraq. I wish for great success. I've paid a great deal of attention to the new government forming and pray it works out. I hope they get a workable constitution and manage to make women into real citizens. Whether I like Bush or his politics has nothing to do with how I feel about Iraq. It tears me up that they keep finding mass graves. It's too bad something couldn't have been done sooner. Do I think we should have gone into Iraq? Probably not. We cant' be responsible for the whole world. Do I think the government was prepared for the aftermath? Absolutely not. Will I be critical of the fact that the Iraqis still don't have utilities, etc. and that our soldiers are dying? You bet. Would I be criticial of all that if a Democrat were president? You betcha.

When I'm thinking about what's best for other people, politics don't enter into it. When I'm thinking about how it could have been done better, politics do enter into it.

We can get Bush out without wishing ill on Iraq.
