I came across some post mortem pictures of the brothers tonight. I'm no Columbo but it appears(from the chest up) that they were beaten to death (swelling and bruising around the face)- or at least beaten before they died. Also there was nothing that looked like a bullet hole.

Although this is exactly what they deserved, if they were beaten why then weren't they captured?
