Charlie Rangel
I caught the late night rerun of the Rangel interview and it was absolutely surreal.
Referring to Saddams sons as just a couple of bums, he insisted on calling their death an assassination of two guys that had nothing to do with the war. He seemed to be totally oblivious that they had any official capacity in the former government or that they resisted capture.
Rangel, ultra liberal or not, has always seemed like a decent sort of guy with more credibility than some black leaders. I'll never regain that respect after this tirade.
