Look, Sorry, but Don is right. Ongoing violence in Iraq IS news. Lack of WMD IS news. I would like to hear the Media focus on the lack of WMD and the meaning of the anti-american violence more- you want less. I am relatively happy with being frustrated with the media when and only when the American Right is frustrated with the media as well. (Though I think we both agree there is a MAJOR problem with lack-of-depth in the reporting)
In the big scheeme of things, Saddams sons were violent little shit-wit figure-heads. Their death really does not mean much outside of salving, slightly, the hundreds or thousands of folks who were brutalized or lost family members to their cruelty. I'm really pleased they are dead. I would have loved to see them taken alive, so we could get Papa Smurf, but I won't complain that they are laying on a slab somewhere in Kuait or Saudi Arabia. If pundits in the media point those facts out- well, then they are simply stating what we all know.
