That was the one problem I had
When I got XP Home, my HP 720 printer/scanner/faxer/copier would nto work with it. The drivers HP suggested I download did not fix it. And a techie couldnt' get it to work. So I bought a new printer and now use my old one as a stand-alone fax/copier but I can't use it as a scanner any longer. However, my new printer is a sweetheart. Went back to a laser jet and hope to never have to make do with an office jet again. So anyone changing to XP needs to make sure the hardware interfaces.
