Not one BSOD

Well, I have also never seen a BSOD on my XP setup, however that doesn't mean XP is crash proof. What it likely means is Microsoft got rid of the blue screen.

The only time it has crashed for me is (and this was reproduceable) when at startup I opened Excel, Outlook, logged into MS instant messenger, and opened up a Internet Explorer all at about the same time. I wouldn't get a blue screen but all my icons and task bar disappeared. I could CTRL ALT DEL and still get into the apps which were running. The only way I could get my desktop to return was to log out then log back in. No reboot required however. After this happened a few times I set it up so MSIM doesn't log in automatically, and I wait till its done before opening all the other apps.

All in all XP is the most stable product under the Microsoft brand.
