Your course of action, if implemented, would lead to a situation where more soldiers end up dead, another one of Dons gleaful post of more U.S. casualties. I can only assume that this is what you prefer, a disproportionate number of "evil american imperialist storm troopers" ending up dead, as our lives are worth less than any one elses.
