Pro space exploration advocate Freeman Dyson is now calling for us to abolish NASA. Not end space exploration but to dismantle the ineffective, bloated, inept org that the once great NASA has become. Dyson is pro humans in space unlike long time anti-humans in deep space scientists like Murray. Other commentators are also chiming in calling for NASA's demise.

Think about it. The root causes cited for the loss of the latest shuttle are sadly similar to those issued back after Challenger. Tens of billions spent and no substantive progress. Time to dismantle this congressional pork program and enable a market for real space utilization.
