So let me see...you are promoting a new liberal - a true liberal liberal who never falls into that evil "conservative" mindset which leads to conflict and violence - something like a drugged out free love hippie circa 1971?

That's a nice little fantasy. If you're going to try and dissect human behavior and consciousness into moments of "conservative" and "liberal" thinking, you are going to have to realize that no thought is ever independent and is part of a structure or chain. No moments are purely conservative or liberal in the truest sense, rather the thoughts and reasoning may appear to be suited to liberal or conservative ideals or patterns. To try and pin violence and conflict as a conservative mindset is a nice illusion - but a very wrong one.

Let's go into the scientific nitty-gritty and lose the rhetorical, philosophical and adjectives.

"Conflict" and "violence" arise when two wave forms meet, interact and are in opposition.

Two waves can be in resonance and you will have no conflicts - only the strenthening of the existing wave pattern.

That's why people with similar interests or even physical traits group together: resonance

When a higher amplitude wave meets a lower amplitude wave and it collides due to some shared shape or frequency, the lower amplitude wave is molded and assumes much of the shape and pattern of the higher amplitude wave.

This is why people and animals have "natural" leaders - it is simply their thoughts and actions follow strengthened amplitude. This does not mean they are correct or more intelligent - merely they have greater amplitude and can drown out the others. This is also the way the media shapes society - through amplitude of its messages.

When two waves of equal amplitude collide it creates a conflict as the two struggle to create a new wave form and both waves end up deformed from their original shape and position.

These type of collisions are the most responsible for change - both in actions and even genetics. When a cell is exposed to a toxin that nearly destroys it, yet it recovers, it now has recorded the wave shape of that toxin and can more effectively absorb it the next time it collides. Such is the science behind innoculations and evolution. Likewise when two strong, yet disparate ideologies collide they reshape eachother and develop certain immunities from their positions.

This is why democrats have rhetoric to counter certain republican positions and vice-versa. And at the same time they often mimic eachother.

Conflict arises each and every time two waves are out of perfect alignment or resonance. In families such conflicts and changes are constantly unfolding. Harmony occurs only when the conflicting waves are balanced into a new shape compatible with all members.

There are no "conservative" wave collisions or "liberal" ones - there are no monkey flashbacks.

There are simply wave disparities, from tiny ones to huge ones.

Someone moves to a new environment - they adapt. However, if their consciousness is of significant amplitude - it is they who mold their environment. Folks like Hitler, Genghis Khan or Napoleon had significant amplitude and history was imprinted by their thoughts and actions for better or for worse. In these cases, worse.

The settlers and pioneers had sufficient determination or amplitude to mold the new lands, while at the same time conforming to unmoldable aspects as well.

Again, consciousness can not be divided into conservative or liberal moments - but rather a series of wavetrains in constant collision and change. Long held wavetrains with the most amplitude provide overriding influence on weaker incoming waves. The survival instinct is one of the most powerful and any wave that collides with it is likely to be rejected and remolded.

That's why suicide or life-threatening pursuits go against the grain of most people or animals.

If one has for decades held a liberal point of view and has reinforced that in countless ways through actions or exposure and resonance with similar shared liberal views - these waves will be of considerable amplitude. The same is true of the conservative in the same position.

The HZ is unique in many aspects because it is one of the few places where very strong amplitude personalities and views coexist and are constantly reshaping eachother. The exposure of many and diverse views basically accelerate the thinking process which is really an acceleration of human evolution. Every member here has been so accelerated and that is why they keep coming back for more.

Unlike a classroom where the teacher and administration dominate with the highest amplitude and mold the students, the HZ gives each poster an identical amplitude opportunity and many more interactions, conflicts and new wave trains emerge out of it.

Whenever philosophical musings fail to clarify something - one can always count on science to paint a clearer picture of what's really going on.
