However, when a group of disgruntled people (i.e. liberals), get together and feel they've somehow been ripped off (i.e. last two elections), and are eager for revenge and comeuppance - you have a group that is in much the same position as were the Germans and are now ready to sacrifice their own morals and humanity for victory.

When Hitler would speak and rally the masses he would have crippled veterans of the "great war" with attendant nurses placed at measured intervals throughout the assembled masses. How can one care so much about a child caught in a US bomb blast because he was used as a human shield around AA batteries and then discard and brush away the 1400 children who were horribly executed and whose rotting corpses sit in a mass grave? How can WWII have been worth fighting and yet not someone who was just as great an evil as Hitler?

Yes, it's one thing to be opposed to war and yet another to be turned into someone who secretly rejoices when there are fatalities and terrorist attacks because the war went too well and not enough folks died to get people angry at Bush. The latter is what the media ARE and what they want to make you, Lindy and everyone else who hates George Bush and seeks revenge or comeuppance for some perceived injustice, BECOME.
Using hate and desires for revenge is exactly the way angry folks could throw bodies into the cremation pits at Auschwitz and not blink. Of course there IS legitimate criticism of Bush's foreign policy as well as his domestic policies - however the Iraq body counters and death toll ringers who ignore the big picture - simply end up making Bush look like a compassionate saint when compared.
