Yes Rob, and it was a pre-emptive self defensive action. Especially, for our troops in Afghanistan and our regional American interests overseas.

When an anti-US nation has had 145 tons of weaponized anthrax as recently as 1998, and remnants of a terrorist organization have fled to the frontiers of that nation - it is not so much wishful thinking as extrapolating data and predicting actions. Don't kid yourself. Let a democrat get elected and the war on terror will be rolled back almost immediately. To put it bluntly most other administrations (especially Clinton's) would be unable to conduct the same level of activity coherently. This administration is da-- good at what they do, and they have the cumulative experience to do this and make it look effortless.

The death tollers are anti-Bush folks. They would pack up shop as soon as a democrat entered office and await their appointments as propaganda ministers in the new regime.

It's easy to get run over by the anti-war, anti-Bush propaganda steamroller. Let the data trickle out and the fall season come with colder temperatures allow searchers to do more extensive digging. Not only will more mass graves appear, but assuredly WMD will be uncovered and revealed as well. The world was given a major gift in the ousting of Saddam - that few fail to realize this is not surprising considering the suppression by the media of what atrocities and crimes against humanity have been commmited by Saddam's regime.
