Moveon.org was founded by a couple of dot.com millionaires (remember the flying toaster screensaver?) as a buttmonkey defending Bill Clinton during the impeachment crisis, which is where the name originated. Nothing much has changed. The sole objective is the destruction of Bush, and if it wasn't Iraq, it would be something else.
If you follow up what looks like many grass-roots organizations, a lot of it turns out to be one big left-wing circle jerk, involving the same people generating different front organizations. It's always fun to take their phone numbers and Google them. A surprising number of outfits often share one office.
