Jody, I could write you at length about my feelings regarding comments like that. I'm sure they mean well but they fail to grasp the complexity of the issue at hand. It is a matter of Civil Rights... Not simply fairness, or respect, or courtesy... Its housing, and job security, and partner benefits, and marriage, and social security benefits for partners and on and on and on.... all things which we are currently denied.
