I think Bush actually thinks they are a good thing for the country long term due to his circle of friends and contributors but falsely advertised them as a recession cure.
Falsely advertised? You know, if you are going to discuss economics, you might want to look out the window once in a while. Have you noticed the economy lately?
Oh, you can find plenty of people who will point to everything BUT the tax cuts as a reason for the current economic recovery. Maybe some of their reasons are right.
But one thing is certain: if the economy was going in the toilet, these very same people would be putting 100 percent of the blame on the tax cuts.
