Every war can be shown to be unjustified if you look hard enough
Many decisions in every war can be shown to have been made from wrong intelligence.
The fog of war does not stay just on the battlefield.
The Civil War did not become a crusade against slavery until long after the war started, as just one example from that one war out of many examples available.
We did not start this war on fabricated lied about intel.
We may have started this war on intel that was false.
There is a huge difference.
That Bush is now finding out what this war is about after it has started is no necessarily cynical, nor does it invalidate why we started the war.
