I would respect a lot of the people here a lot more if they would just admit the following: "The reasons we claimed we had to go to war were lies... but we started this and bear moral responsibility for our actions... "

Small problem with admitting any of this: none of it is true.

Bush didn't lie. If you have a documented lie--saying something that he knew wasn't true--please inform the DNC. They would be very happy to hear from you, as they have been breaking their backs trying to nail Bush in a lie for months.

Still, if you keep repeating "Bush lied!" over and over again like Ted Kennedy, maybe some of it will stick somewhere. It's worked before.

We did give a damn about the mass graves, and many of them were filled after the first Gulf War, when we decided to do things the U.N. way. We were not supporting Saddam at the time.
