I understood your point of the pellets.
My point was, even if the pellets exploded in the fashion you descried and I'll even go so far as to magnify to the power of 10, there is know way a cloud could form to that size let alone stay in formation do to the 400 mph winds of Jupiter's atmosphere for such a long time. Galileo impacted Jupiter in mid Sept. the photos were taken mid Oct.
