I have a consistent political philosophy. The Republican Party represents it a lot more than the Democrats do, and unfortunately the Libertarians aren't in the game.

I have made no secret of the things Bush does that I don't approve of.

I didn't like the tariffs. I didn't like his compromises on education. I don't think he has held down domestic spending at all. He should have fired Tenet after 9/11.

And there are many things he has done that I do approve of. So far, I've pretty happy with his tax and foreign policies. Unlike many, I don't gauge foreign policy success with whether or not the U.N. and France like us or not.

None of my political positions are any different than they were under Clinton. Or Bush Sr. Or Reagan.

A "Bush hater" can find nothing that Bush has ever done, or ever will do, that he likes. A sign that you are dealing with a true "Bush hater" is when they have actually reversed positions they have previously held simply to be on the opposite side of Bush. A number of prominent Democrats fall into this category. To the best of my knowledge, nobody here does, although a couple come close.
