Possibly.
It helped get our economy moving again, and preserved jobs and companies. Now that demand is up and growing, it will not be a big loss to let the steel market free back up. The Euros are going to always seek an excuse to wack us because it is almost as much fun for them as it is for us.
I think Bush will seek the quietest way out and that it will pass as the economy continues to gain momentum.
