Grew up outside the country for a while to the best of my knowledge, but he is an authentic Iraqi. Hey, now that the place is free, they can have all kinds of opinions.
The fact that he comes off as an ungrateful little shit is another question. There are a lot of Iraqis who had it good under Saddam. There's a reason for this. One did not have to be a murderous thug to stay on Saddam's good side. Mostly, you just had to do your job and ignore what was happening to others.
