LOL
Very good analysis Greg. I've thought along these lines myself and shrug it off as being paranoid. However, the rhetoric and self-righteousness HAS to go. As for the corruption......well the whole system has become one big fat cash cow and as I mentioned elsewhere on these boards, the God of Money (Mammon) rules the hearts and minds of the most powerful men in society.
And I see poor laborers in other countries trying to stand up for their products and their livelihoods being taken down by governments who use their own military to squelch dissent and maintain order. More money goes to the government leaders who in turn give it to the military along with their orders. It turns families and neighbours against each other. Just for that bigger financial edge. No compassion there. No sharing either. The bully has become the leader on the block.
We are not a peaceful society.
Although I am not a religious person, I have a spiritual view of the world and the way the corporations and the mony trails are building these days and it does NOT bode well for mankind.
Your analysis is worthy of an article on TRUTHOUT.org. I'd send it to the webmaster.
