You simply don't get it
We need international help in the reconstruction of Iraq. By forclosing the opportunity for nations we are counting on to pony bucks to help to bid on OUR contracts, we are rubbing salt into wounds that had been healing. But more importantly, we are offering motivation to these nations to spurn our calls for international help. That's about as stupid as it gets. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
