Users versus Creators

Journalists, reporters, newscasters, etc. are users. This means they regurgitate others activities for their livelihood. The user class and it's entire infrastructure is historically, throughout the entire of recorded human history, associated with the political left.

Teachers, educators and public servants fall into this category as well. They use the collected wisdom and regurgitate it. It may not seem fair but the user class could also be classified as those who are mental opportunists which seek the path of least resistance. I know this is a generalization, but it is founded deeply in the real life motivations and decisions made.

Mental opportunists will believe wholeheartedly in the justness of socialism and would be communists if there were no historical and social stigma attached to such politics.

In some ways, music and movie file sharing are a good example of this mentality. The masses largely take the opportunity to obtain free music and after enough time passes feel this is not just an opportunity - but more of an earned right no one should be allowed to take away.

The creators on the other hand are the ones given the shaft. To create products and goods the users desire is not valued by the users who fail to comprehend the capitalism's due process. If one doesn't reward the suppliers there will be none - just as in Russia under communism. A nation of users is a nation of egalitarians clamoring for things they can't provide for themselves.

Socialism is the political favorite of mental opportunists. They will work towards the goal of entitlements unceasingly. The military, the police and the Justice department and anything that may in any manner threaten their entitlements is something to be feared and, whenever possible, dismantled.

Wars, too, remind them of the threat of force to preserve order or to go after another mega-user such as a tyrant. It makes them consciously and subconsciously uncomfortable because they know that given the opportunity - mental opportunists vaguely know they could end up very similar to Saddam if given the same opportunities.

The Bush administration has been pummeled as being "imperialist" by mental opportunists. The war is not the nation's war, but Bush's war and is only capable of being understood by mental opportunists in a selfish light: It must be for oil! Perhaps it is to force our religion on them! No, it must be for oil! The creator or world builder's view is entirely foreign to them. Literally such concepts are hard for them to even comprehend much less believe.

Creators see the world entirely differently. They live not to survive but, rather, to create. The constant improvement of the world is not achieved by throwing up the misunderstood word equality like some politcal bulimic, at every given opportunity, but instead is achieved through the providing of new things and ideas and building society, technology and the world through capitalist enterprises.

This is not to say they love material goods over humanity - far from it. Instead, these creators realize that humanity's quality of life is based upon both new and ever improved material goods, infrastructure and a capitalist system to distribute them and keep them coming.

Again, these are generalizations and I'm sure I've offended many by even pointing them out. However, the fundamental premise of this understanding is quite valid, if discomforting. The users and the creators are going to be continually locked in a struggle. The creators always seem to be richer and live a better life and this is the source of great frustration and jealousy to the users. That the users may not quite understand or appreciate the value of supply and demand is a given, but mental opportunism will somehow justify them taking from the creators.

It is far too scary a prospect to awaken to the realization that your life and efforts are based on the path of least resistance and opportunism and that is why the folks at ABC and the media generally continue in their efforts to belittle the efforts in Iraq and attack the Bush administration whenever the opportunity presents itself.
