Speer was Hitler's toadie so he may have curried favor by using his ideas.
What Tom meant was there was a tone of respect for Speer and Hitler in your post. I'm not saying you meant respect just that is seemed to be there.
Neither deserves any respect. They don't stand up to close inspection. Any illusions of a lost noble intent in Hitlers world is as unreal as a code of honor in organized crime. There was no baby in the bath water.
