The Future

at this rate a small team could kill everyone in a decade or two... our culture is growing in its abilities exponentially, is our ability to use it wisely growing at the same rate?

And equally viable is that a small team or single individual is capable of saving everyone too. We see new drugs, new medicines and shared wisdom leading to longer, healthier lives for an ever greater number of citizens. The 120 year life span is already a viable possibility for a good number of folks. For every group of evildoers a new breed of positive forces are born into the world. It's that inherent (+,-) balance thing again.

I can imagine quite a few scenarios where ALL illnesses, cancer, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, MS, AIDS, Alzheimers and everything that is now still feared becomes as obsolete as Polio. If there is one concept I would like to get across to people in this lifetime it is that all these things can be treated electronically by radiations of specific energy and that we must realize that every pathogen can be disrupted, every cell is programmed by its messenger DNA and that all diseased cells can be restored by re-establishing balance electronically.

Naturally, in a world where complex scanners can identify in seconds any diseased cell in your body and re-establish it with a signal that matches each person's individual DNA, mass murder by biological or chemical weapons becomes impractical in such a future world.

The primary risk is not developing these advanced technologies and becoming stagnant - much like our space program. Nano and quantum technologies will be the next tech-revolution.

Then as society progresses even further...

I can envision a world where missing limbs are re-established and atoms are aligned and controlled by machines which can reshape them into the place of the missing limb! I can see a world where eternal youth is programmed by a weekly twenty minute treatment overwriting the aging and slightly changed DNA cell signals with earlier recorded versions of the same signal. In this future world an eternal 23 is possible (though not necessarily desirable)

Perhaps even more desirable is a world in which humans begin to focus on evolving themselves and not just their tools. The mind is a largely wasted thing and it's true potential hasn't even been slightly tapped. Our youth spends the first 30 years caring solely about what others think about them and only later start to spread their wings and cast off the conformity that paralyzes them. In the future I see a youth that is college educated by age 15 and is a master of their chosen field by age 18 due to the superior ability to transmit huge quantities of data.

And even further....

Take another giant leap and these advanced humans will shed the machines and begin to use their minds to do these things. Perhaps a well-trained mind can heal the body and generate signals as yet undreamt of. Even age-control might be in the province of self-determination. I can imagine beings so developed that they can adjust their atomic structures by thoughts. Walking on water? Sure. Passing through walls? A child's parlor trick.

In such a world where mastery over the material environment exists - the rat race will be ancient history. Today 99% of man's time and effort is spent concerned about self-preservation. When self-preservation is a given - thoughts will turn to more celestial and humanity will become very introspective.

Imagine with me the family of such a future...

The parents (who look all of 18-20) are teaching their children how to fly by adjusting their bodies harmonic relationship to the earth's magnetic field. Their older gifted child is already mastering self-teleportation by realigning their structures with known locales. They know all about the history of earth and have a knowledge of matter and physics that would make our present savants appear as no-nothings. Their emotional relationships are as far removed from ours as we are to the animal world. Love is the only clear remnant as sadness, anger, hate, fear are almost completely obsolete. Even joy is transformed and muted somewhat with a new broader perspective on all things that prevents exuberance and fosters appreciation.

The social orders, goals, aspirations and fixations of our present world are totally non-existent. There are no celebrities. There is no youth-worship. Wisdom is a birthright and a new perspective of the universe has been established that dwarves our own. Spacecraft are some of the last transportation machines - and what spaceships! A single craft can travel from the Andromeda galaxy to our own in minutes by bypassing time and space through dimensional wormhole travel.

They already know that humanity is not the final expression of advanced intelligence or evolution and suddenly a whole galaxy filled with inhabited worlds, each at various levels of evolution, are known to them.

These family members choose their time of death by disconnecting from their body whenever they feel they can progress more elsewhere in another form on another world whether a hundred years or five-hundred. There is no sadness, no funerals - no remorse for they know such a disconnect is more of a graduation ceremony than an ending. They already know that their physical body is a tool used by their quantum field consciousness and that they can become any species of being they can imagine. In fact, they may have many times visited these other worlds both in spacecraft and by advanced future forms of mind travel.

Well...that's one possible future for an advanced and massively evolved humanity. How long a time that could take is up for debate but with exponential growth such a world might exist in a few thousand years - or less.

What actually will happen on earth, however, is anyone's guess.
