According to the 2000 Census, Vermont, which has fewer people in it than the city of San Francisco, contains exactly 4,492 black or partially black people. If you stretch that to all "brown" people (we all know Asians don't count in the Race Victim Game, and must suffer being officially "white") it adds up to about 16,700 (counting mixed.) This is less than three percent of the population.

I count about thirteen people, but there may be a couple off camera to the left, so let's call it fifteen. Note that some are women. To accurately represent the racial makeup of Vermont, slightly less than half of one of these people would need to have more melanin than it does.

I'm no fan of Dean, but Sharpton is a blithering jackass, and I wish some Democrat would tell him so instead of responding to any ridiculous racial accusation with the knee-jerk Democratic response of falling to one's knees, and wailing in guilt and apology for the crimes of the white race back to the Neolithic Age.

I have actually heard someone seriously suggest that Dean import "cabinet members of color*" to satisfy the race hawks. Hell, you might just as well make shirts that have "TOKEN" plastered across the front and hand them out as they report for work.

*You have to word it this way. If I were to say "colored cabinet members" it would be a race insult. Go figure. I can't.
