Another lie that needs to be squashed
I am seeing a LOT of articles and letters that treat the NASA outlays involved in this as though it was all new money, as opposed to a NASA budget allocation that, for the most part, has been there all along. The amount varies, but the wording in the articles implies that Bush is adding $140 to $250 billion to money that is already there, which is not true, and would be patently idiotic in light of the budget problems.
I have yet to see this chart published in any media, a chart that clarifies what is actually planned. Has anyone else seen it?
