The accusations are, of course, completely false, but I see that Jay Leno is having quite the field day with it all, and getting loud ovations for his ignorant quips. Of course he’s just having fun with the headlines.

The AWOL chants, though, will likely continue right up to the elections, and then suddenly, mysteriously vanish -- regardless who wins. Well, mysterious only to those without a clue.

I'd say the only "last nails" will need to be driven by real historians -- not bloggers -- once Bush himself is finally laid to rest.

Maybe an after-the-fact A&E Biography?

It would be nice if the media were to actually explore the issue, rather than reporting blogs and allowing the ill-educated, non-military pacifists decide on how the military really does function.
