Virtually all the accusations about Clinton were completely false, but that didn't stop most Republicans supporting them being used to try and destroy Clinton. The Republicans set the standard and can't grizzle now.

Little by little more information is being dragged out of Bush, so he has only himself to blame by the issue persisting. If he had released all the information before this it would all be over one way or another.

It looks to me like the critics were right anyway, the facts are different to what Bush wrote about his service in his memoirs. Since he's already lied about the subject why should people believe the latest version?
