re: Uh-huh . . .

Look, Greg. It really don’t matter one way or the other.

For the record -- remember what a “record” is? -- regarding the man's "AWOL" conviction from all the media hypes, he simply wasn't. Period. There is no "record" of AWOL, and no "record" of unauthorized absence. Until those "facts" change, they simply "don't".

Now, I’ve been governor of my own life for quite some time, and feel I can continue for many years to come. The only reason I have for supporting any candidate over any another candidate are the promises I receive regarding borders, old age, and the future of mankind.

I voted for Reagan twice, and was pleased with the overall results. I voted for Bush and was disappointed. I then voted for Clinton, and he failed me, big time. I voted for Gore, and he didn’t make it. Call it what you will, he was far from the best person for the job, but he was the best I saw running -- and simply failed to get elected.

Read what you will into the above, the end never justifies the means -- but then the end is what we eventually have to live with.

Anyway, 9/11 comes along, and Bush surprises the world. I still don’t like him, but he’s doing a hell of a job on our collective enemies.

You know -- evil? It is out there.

He’s doing better than Reagan did, better than his own pop did, and far better than Clinton ever even tried. I also feel he’s doing a lot better with today’s crises than Gore could have ever dreamed.

As for Kerry, he’s probably all set to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan, sending the planet into a terrorist spiral, and has already promised to wander the streets of Europe with his hat in his hand -- a personal begging spree that Dean has been on via the internet for some time now. I say to hell with them both.

And for all your cheering for Clinton, they fall to deaf ears with me. He’s a damned player (the missus, too), and this world has no time for players.

Cheers,
Dan
