Sorry Nick...thought I'd beat R. Clark to the punch.

I thnk your ideas are interesting here. I would tend to agree that if water is involved, its on the dry side of the spectrum. I think we're only talking about ephemeral amounts, if any. I am one of those who wants to believe in a once warm and wet Mars, but I suspect we'll learn that its something less than that.
