Save it for the rubes. If the situation had been exactly the opposite, with Bush ahead in popular votes but behind in electoral votes, not one single Democrat would be bitching about the Electoral College, and you'd all be pointing to the Constitution saying "that's the rules, folks."

And they recounted the votes later in all the counties Gore had targeted. He still lost. Get over it.
