Counting votes

In the 1992 election, Clinton got about 45 million votes. Over 59 million people voted for somebody else. Clinton won the election. In 1996, Clinton got over 47 million votes. Other candidates got over 48 million. Clinton won again.

In fact, other than Bush in 2000, Clinton's two wins were the only ones since 1968 (Nixon/Humphrey/Wallace) where the winner got less than 50 percent of the vote.

Didn't hear any complaints about the Electoral College from the Democrats back then.

Get over it.
